Rural Support Service get WSIS Prize 2017 for Electronic Application System, which is currently maintained and developed by Autentica.

From 12th- 16th June Rural Support Services (RSS) director Anna Vītola-Helviga participated in World Summit on the Information Society and presented Electronic Application System (

Rural Support Service participated in the competition of WSIS Prize 2017 and won the competition between 5 projects, in nomination “E-agriculture”. It is unique world appreciation for excellence in using information and communication technologies.

WSIS Prize 2017 is unique international contest organized by United Nations in collaboration with ITU (The International Telecomunication Union), UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization), UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) and UNCTAD (United Nations Conference on Trade and Development).
