Scrum Guide available in Latvian

We use agile software development approach for software development and encourage others to do it as well. To make information about Scrum framework available for more people, we have translated the Scrum Guide to Latvian.

Scrum is an agile framework for developing and sustaining complex products. This Guide contains the definition of Scrum. This definition consists of Scrum’s roles, events, artefacts, and the rules that bind them together. Ken Schwaber and Jeff Sutherland developed Scrum; the Scrum Guide is written and provided by them. Together, they stand behind the Scrum Guide.

Scrum ceļvedis 2013 (the Scrum Guide 2013) is temporarily not accepting any new submissions for Scrum Guide translations, because there has been a decision to align with the Scrum Alliance and Scrum Inc. to promote the Scrum Guide on a shared community platform as the sole source of the Scrum framework. As soon as we will be notified about new submission requirements for Scrum Guide translations, we will submit the guide, where it belongs.

We have translated the last version of the Scrum Guide from July 2013.

Thanks to our colleague Ilze Leite-Apine for a detailed and thoughtful translation and to our experienced Scrum users for opinions and discussions during the translation process!

Will be happy to improve our translation, so if you notice any imprecisions or have suggestions about better usage of concepts, please contact us.
